EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION
At BHS we have a thriving Preschool for children ages two to five and a Parenting Center for children and their families ages one day to five years. The Preschool
Established in 2001, our Preschool has a cherished history of supporting children in their growth, and in their learning about themselves, their community, and the larger world. Through an emergent curriculum approach, children become highly engaged learners who embrace challenge while forming lasting friendships. BHS Preschool is a joyful place to learn where teachers value the inspirations of young children and encourage their pursuit.
For general admission, we accept applications online August through December (and will make an effort to process those received later). Tours are offered in-person by appointment from September through January. Outside of the general admissions season, please consider reaching out to see if placement is available before applying. We would love to get to know you and your child through our admissions process!
The Parenting Center
Our Parenting Center offers both ongoing classes for children to attend before entering preschool, and a full calendar of holiday and community events as we learn, gather, and celebrate together. We invite you to join us for free weekly Shabbat singalongs, community Shabbat dinners, holiday celebrations for you and your young child, and classes like Boker 2s and Shalom Yeladim.

Summer Programming
The BHS Preschool Summer Program features qualified, caring teachers and fully equipped preschool classrooms. Children in our summer program enjoy neighborhood playground visits, special guests and trips each week, and can play in our air-conditioned classrooms or enjoy outdoor water play, too!
