Who attends the GTKY Dinners? Is it only for new members?
Every BHS member is encouraged to participate in the GTKY Dinners, whether
this is your first or your twentieth! Dinner groups are carefully curated to bring together different cohorts, so you can see both familiar and new faces. If you’ve never attended a GTKY Dinner, please make this the year to join us.
How does the night work?
The evening begins at 6PM at BHS, where we will all gather in our spectacular new social space for festive cocktails and appetizers followed by a Havdalah service, everyone will move on to their dinners. If you can’t make it to the cocktail party, you can head straight to your dinner at 7:30PM.
Who hosts the dinner parties?
Anyone can volunteer to host if you have enough space for six or more guests. Even if this is your first GTKY Dinner, we welcome and encourage you to host! We will walk you through all the details – it’s all quite easy. Hosting a dinner can also be a nice option if you don’t have a babysitter … or if you’re just more comfortable in your own home. Let your friends–new and old–come to you!
Who provides the food?
Potluck! The host will email the guests approximately ten days before the 27th to coordinate side dishes, wine, dessert, and an entrée. Often, the host provides the entrée.
